As of May 1st, 2017, Montreal will have it’s very own chocolate factory! Yes! You read that right. A chocolate factory right here in our own city and boy are we excited! Located at the corner of Shearer and St. Patrick streets in the heart of Griffintown you can now find the Cacao 70 Factory.

All Montreal chocolate lovers know about the deliciousness served at the Cacao 70 restaurants found all around the city and now the country. But now you can experience how the chocolate is made while sampling the decadent dishes from this amazing Quebec company.

The location sports an open and bright dining area, where patrons can sample the delicious chocolate offerings.  Surrounding the establishment is the factory, where head chocolatier Gaiia Kim and partner Van Hien Dao make delicious magic in the form of Cacao 70 chocolate bars.

From the roasting of the beans to the final product, consumers can experience how the six different types of bars are made. You will also be able to purchase the many flavours of chocolate fondue, premium cacao powders, and hot chocolate powders, at all of the store locations. All ready to consume at home and share with your friends and family.

Having the opportunity to tour the facilities and taste the dishes, we were impressed with both our eyes and our taste buds. The knowledge of the staff was superb and we know Cacao 70 Factory will continue to produce amazing confectionaries for years to come.

But do not take our word for it, the next time the chocolate craving hits, head over to Cacao 70 Factory for delicious treats and learn all about where the magic happens.
